All Club members are invited to the AGM and Annual Dinner -
When: Saturday 18th September, 6:30pm Sharp
Where: Toowong Bowls Club, Cnr Gailey Rd and Heroes Ave, Toowng (Accessible from Toowong Railway Station ~700m walk or via 412 and 411 bus routes)
Dress: Formal

This is the most important and biggest event on the UQHC Calendar. It will feature the AGM and then the dinner, which will see the annual club and team awards presented. The next club social function is upon us ....
What:
- UQ Hockey End-of-Fixtures Cocktail Night
- Come in some fine dapper with a UQ Theme – wear something maroon
- $3 daiquiris, $10 Jugs and other fine cocktail-esque beverages. Free barefoot bowls for those so inclined.
- Buses out to the city/valley afterwards
- Last weekend of fixtures for BHL1-4 (sorry 5’s!) and BHL3.2-5 have later games the next day. Time to celebrate.
Where: Toowong Bowls Club
When: 7:00pm, Sat 7th August
Cost: $5 (inc. bus, bowls, drink specials, a ticket in $50 bar tab raffle and some nibblies)
Get keen for another fantastic club event and drum up interest in your teams.

The date for the Annual UQHC Pub Crawl has been confirmed - Saturday 22nd May.

Theme: TOYS
Time: 7:00pm, 22nd May
Starting Location: Toowong Bowls Club
Cost: $40 - includes buses all night, waterbottle, and alcohol (unlimited jungle juice) aboard the buses, plus drink specials at venues!

Money may be accepted on the night, as long as you have RSVP'ed. It will be a case of first in, first served and the club much prefers if payment is made by direct deposit. Get the money rolling in now!
This is always one of the biggest social events on the calendar so get keen and lock the date in!! The women's club will also be there in numbers and please feel free to invite friends, colleagues, family etc, just make sure they all RSVP.

The Pubcrawl once again proved to be a highlight of the social calendar, as some 95 people showed up in their finest TOYS attire. Sifting through the Toy Box, there was an abundance of Woody’s and Buzz Lightyears, several GI-Joes, care-bears, lego, grip ball, an Action Man, Pokemon characters, Thomas’, Bob the Builders, Ghostbuster figurines, Totem Tennis, Jack-in-the-box, Monkeys, Bananas in Pyjamas, Bop-It, Santa with his sack of Toys, Where’s Wally, a Yo-Ho Diablo and even one of the all time kids favourites (especially in the Shillito household), a Bird-Watching figurine. Costume of the night was hard to award, although this scribe certainly enjoyed Tong’s eccentric Action Man figurine and the creative efforts of I.Gout and his Yo-Ho Diablo.

Saturday 20th March saw the 2010 UQ Hockey season launched in style at the Toowong Bowls Club. As the night dawned on us, plenty of questions were buzzing in the minds of everyone who was anyone. Would Baldrick appear with a cunning plan? What shade of pastel would Billy be wearing? Who would take the mantle of resident club lothario after moonie’s departure in ’08? And would Guppy last the night at Toowong Bowls without removing his clothes?
