On the 27th November 2010, 2 UQHC Legends Teams were named at a Gala UQHC Alumni Dinner.
The first of these was the Team of the Decade, chosen for players from 2001-2010. The main selectors for this team were UQHC Life Members Alan Ferguson and Dushen Salecich, ably assisted by others.

The second of these was the Team of the 20th Century, chosen from all players from the club's inception until 2000. The main selectors of this team were Lou Hailey (former Australian selector), Don McWatters (former Australian coach) and Hugh 'Boy' Josiffe (former Australian player), a man who was able to provide a link to the pre-war era. The qualification for the team was a minimum 50 A grade games for the club and must have represented Queensland. The team chosen was truly amazing, with 5 Australian Players, 3 Dual Olympians and a host of other incredible hockey achievements between the 11.
